I love that black beans are used to make this healthy edible brownie batter. Beans are full of healthy fiber and protein and help reduce blood sugar spikes. How to Make Edible Black Bean Brownie Batter

Equipment Needed:

Food Processor

Can Opener

Small glass bowl

Instructions:

In a small glass bowl, add the dates and boiling water. Let soak for a minute or two to soften the dates. Drain the dates, reserving the liquid.

Drain the black beans and add them to a food processor fitted with the S blade.

Add the dates, almond butter, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt. Blend until a smooth batter forms, scraping down the sides of the food processor as necessary. 

Add the chocolate chips, if using, and pulse a few times to blend.

Serve immediately and enjoy!
